A Year to Change Your Life

Have you been hoping for, or are you perhaps actively searching for, a change in your life?

Change.. what type of change?

Well, there are, of course, the more obvious types of change, like wanting to lose weight, get healthier, quit something or other, etc. But there are also the more subtle, but perhaps even more concerning, desires for change. These subtle changes may include wanting to feeling happier, more relaxed and content, rediscovering passion, zest, and enthusiasm.

Do you desire to rekindle the feeling of love and connection you once had with your partner?

Or, maybe you hope to find that special someone with whom to fall in love?

Or, are you’re just wondering what the next chapter is in your life story is going to be?

All of these areas are certainly worthy of reflection, but not just a cursory reflection, like those we make at the beginning of every new year. No, these are areas that require much more careful consideration. They require focused and deliberate approach to discovering what we need and desire.

What Is A Year to Change Your Life?

A Year to Change Your Life involves a structured process for finding your way beyond your current life circumstances… those circumstances that can play a vital roll in a continued feeling of being “stuck,” and not feeling either the energy or motivation to make meaningful change happen.

A Journey of Self-Discovery...

Based on years of experience as therapists, yoga teacher trainers, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Trainers, and Life Coaches, Augusta and David Kantra have developed an exciting course designed to be a year-long immersive journey. Break down the walls of the current circumstances that fence you in and discover your passions and desires for the next chapter of your life. You will learn how to become an architect of your future self and create a plan to uncover the change you’re looking for on your way to developing a rich and meaningful life.

Feeling Stuck?

The truth is, change has been living inside of you this whole time. You only need to make this one small step to invite huge transformation into your life.

You Are the Hero in Your Life Story...

A Year to Change Your Life is designed to be an immersive experience into exploring your life story. You’ll tease out the strengths, passions and dreams that have become a part of your unique personal signature and use this information to explore, create and develop new stories for the future.

Regardless of whether your life up to this point has been incredible or a disappointment, the next chapters have yet to be written. In those chapters, you are meant to play a leading role. After all, if you’re not the hero in your own life story, that’s got to change!

A “good life,” according to research, requires 5 elements:

  1. Pleasure
  2. Engagement
  3. Relationships
  4. Meaning
  5. Achievement
    (PERMA)

A Year to Change Your Life has been developed to help you discover all of these elements and put them together into a plan of action… all in a safe, connected environment with people like you who want the same thing.

Ask Yourself One Question:

What is going on in your life that brings you here today?

Lack of an appealing vision for the future? Missing passion in your life? Confusion about your life’s purpose? A feeling that there’s got to be more to life than this? Perhaps it’s one or more of these feelings that’s brought you here.

The beautiful reality? It’s never too late to be who you want to be.

And it starts with one tiny step…

Our Story

Augusta and David have been married for 35 years and have two daughters, both of whom are psychotherapists.

In 2008, Augusta was diagnosed with advanced stage colon cancer. Without warning, life changed dramatically for her and her family. She underwent surgery and chemotherapy.

She and David began walking daily, never missing a day during chemo. Many lifestyle changes were made, and many lessons were learned. During the final months of her treatment, as an affirmation of and commitment to her healing, Augusta started the Saturday Morning Yoga class that celebrated its 10th anniversary last year.

In 2009, Augusta and David decided to pursue their foundational and advanced yoga teacher training with Rolf Gates. In 2012, they created the first CALM (Creating Awareness – Living Mindfully) courses, opened the Center for CALM Living, and teamed up with Rolf Gates to offer yoga teacher trainings.

In 2016, the Kantra’s created and opened their our training program for aspiring yoga teachers, the CALM School of Yoga, where they guide trainees through the transformational journey of yoga teacher training.

From 2017 through 2019, Augusta and David trained with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach through the University of California Berkeley to become Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teachers.

This year, there are more changes afoot. The Center for CALM Living is growing and new space is being added so as to accommodate the trainings, workshops, groups and retreats that are the very life-blood of Augusta and David.

Augusta and David are not strangers to transformational life changes. Whether it’s in one of their already established programs, or the new “A Year to Change Your Life” program, Augusta and David stand ready to guide, support and encourage their participants to create their best lives possible.

Don’t miss the opportunity to harness the possibilities inside yourself!
